The name STADA originally stood for Standard Products of the German Pharmacists. From its inception in 1895 in Germany, STADA has evolved into a dynamic company that provides a wide range of Pharmaceutical products that carry more than 100 years tradition of quality assurance and service.
STADA Arzneimittel AG and STADA’s group of companies are primarily focused on the pharmaceutical healthcare market. It’s two (2) core segments are Generics and Branded Products.

These are products with either specific product characteristics and/or unique formulations which have garnered a high degree of public awareness. Such products are: APO-go, Mar Plus, Grippostad C, Kamistad Gel, Ladival etc.
Stada Generics – “value of money”
In the “Generics” segment, STADA generally concentrates on marketing products with off-patent active pharmaceutical ingredient.
It is a reality that simple generics in an over-crowded market would be difficult. Thus, taking this in mind, we selected products with an “added-value” in it and STADA positioned itself in the cardiovascular market where both patients and doctors are consciously looking into the quality of such products.
Currently, the cardiovascular range still generates Asia’s highest turnover.
