STADA VIETNAM JOINET VENTURE COMPANY LIMITED
STADA started the business in Vietnam with the export of German products way back in 1996. After several years of good cooperation with our Vietnamese partner and after having established the “STADA” brand image, STADA decided to enter into a joint venture project with this Vietnamese partner, Medical Science and technology Pharm. Co. Ltd. (MST). The company STADA Vietnam J.V. Co. Ltd. was formed and began operation in January 2003, as soon as the Ministry of Planning and Investment granted their approval.
STADA-VN JV Co., Ltd. is a 50-50 Joint–Venture between M.S.T Pharm. Co., Ltd. and STADA Asia (The Asian branch of STADA Arzneimittel - Germany) established on September 04, 2002 located at K63/1 Nguyen Thi Soc, Xuan Thoi Dong, Hoc Mon, Ho Chi Minh City with 9.248m2 for the total construction surface area.
After three years of operation, STADA-VN started the construction of new factory in accordance with the EU-GMP at 40 Tu Do Avenue, Vietnam-Singapore Industrial Park, Thuan An, Binh Duong with 34.000m2 for the total construction surface area. Thereafter, STADA-VN is the first and only pharmaceutical company in Vietnam certified to have the EU-GMP.
All products of STADA-VN are distributed by Khuong Duy Pharm Co. Ltd. Since 2003, STADA-VN J.V. Co., Ltd. has started to export its products to Cambodia, Thailand, Malaysia, Hong Kong, and Philippines…. The export-import is carried out by STADA Import-Export (Hong Kong). In addition, STADA-VN started to export the products to the European market from May 2008. The export orientation is considered as the key factor of business strategy of STADA-VN J.V. Co., Ltd.

PYMEPHARCO was established in 1989 aiming at producing pharmaceuticals, trading and directly importing and exporting medicinal-pharmaceutical materials and equipment.
In 1993 PYMEPHARCO’s subsidiary in HCMC came into being. Of business sphere the company operates very effectively with a vast network of branches and agents. The company frequently enlarges its network far to Mekong Delta provinces, Central provinces and highlands, up to Northern towns of the country. The company has maintained good commercial relationship with prestigious pharmaceutical producers and distributors of more than 20 countries in the world.
In the beginning of October 2003, PYMEPHARCO pharmaceutical plant, a GMP-standardized plant, officially started its operation with its three factories, specializing in Beta-lactams, Non Beta-lactams and soft capsules. PYMEPHARCO is the producer of Cephalosporin antibiotic products under franchising of prestigious pharmaceutical companies, such as Orchid-India, SAMCHUNDANG-Korea, especially STADA-Germany.
Along with imported products, PYMEPHARCO produced high quality products which meet the requirements of the Healthcare Bureau and contributed to the development of Vietnam’s Pharmaceutical sector.
In 2008, PYMEPHARCO put its new sterile injection plant into operation. The new factory will be a candidate for EU-GMP certificate at the end of 2009. This is a remarkable milestone in PYMEPHARCO’s development.
With efforts made, PYMEPHARCO has achieved honorable results:
• Emulation Flag awarded by the Government for the pioneer in the competitive movement
• Labor Order 3rd Class granted by the President of the State and several commendation flags by the Ministry of Health and Province of Phu Yen.
On the momentum of what has been achieved, the company is planning decisive steps of strategy to develop the brand-name PYMEPHARCO as well as head for providing the community with high-quality products and stepping out to international markets.
